Badass, Non-Traditional Rooftop LA Engagement

September 2, 2020

Meisha and Ace — When we were planning their engagement session, Meisha wrote to me and said, “[Ace’s] only request is that we don’t be basic”. Hell. Yes. We started off pumping some liquid courage (read: liquor) into ’em at a rooftop bar downtown. Then, I drove them and their freshly-tequila-d selves to the top of one of my rooftops. It’s the best spot to catch a view of the DTLA skyline. If you tell me that you want non-basic, badass, non-traditional engagement photos, you know I’m gonna provide.

After making our way to the rooftop, we hung around for a while to catch the sunset. But, before we day turned to night, Ace was sure to light up a cigar for a quick smoke (they said they wanted to be non-basic and badass!). As the sun dipped below the ocean on the West Side, it cast the most beautiful golden hue over the DTLA skyline.

Are you digging the downtown vibe? Well, I’ve got two galleries that you’ve gotta check out.
